So I've had my Jaguar XJ for about four years now and it's been mostly smooth sailing, but recently I've noticed this really unsettling clunking noise from the front suspension whenever I go over even small bumps, and honestly it's ruining the whole driving experience because I'm constantly bracing myself for the sound. I took it to a general garage nearby and they quoted me a ridiculous amount just to look at it, and they didn't even seem confident about what the actual problem was which totally put me off. The thing is, my car is well out of warranty now so I really don't want to go to the dealer and pay those astronomical rates for everything, but at the same time I don't trust just anyone with it because these cars have so many electronic systems tied into everything. A friend suggested I look for a proper Jaguar repair trained service center instead of just going anywhere, and I think he's right because these cars need someone who actually knows the platform inside out and has the right diagnostic equipment. Has anyone here had their suspension work done by a specialist in the Dubai area and actually been happy with the results? I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount, I just want it fixed properly without being ripped off or having to go back multiple times for the same issue.
